As for liking my job, i wouldnt say i loved but however, working with the people i did (none of the management people) i enjoyed their company. There were/is a lot of cool people working at python but the ones calling the shots are morons and dont know how to treat employees, which his why their turnover rate is high.

I have always only been a reader at this board and never posted, but this is just too interesting to pass up. First of all, let me try to understand this... notjoe, who is actually Joe, 'backed up' this list and brought it home with him (or backed it up at home), and then uploaded it to his server, which was a server that he and someone from Python purchased. Then, a couple of lesbians (chuckle, what does this have to do with anything?) hacked into it and then stole it. Is this right? If it is, then I have a few questions:
1) Who ARE these lesbians and how can I get a hold of them. I think I love them already! I need some people hacked!
2) What does Brad have to do with this? Besides "catching the thieves" because he "fucking hates thieves". That's interesting coming from him. After all, right after he met Cathy from SinLinks, he registered all the "Sin" names he could and tried to sell them back to her!!! (Heard this story from Cathy at Internext so I only have one side). Not necessarily thieving, but interesting ethics anyway.
3) Why the hell was he backing the lists up to a server that was supposed to be joint venture between himself, someone from Python, and the two Lesbians?

correct, the deal went bad, i removed all their accounts (so i had thought), bought out the ppl for the machine since i was going to continue my paysites when they logged in like a month or two later and downloaded that shit.

You seem like a decent guy and are answering the questions put to you, but all I'm getting with all the accusations is that Python are cheaters, and there are some seriously shady dealings between Python employees and others.

Bascally, there were never enough time in the day to do what i had to do to download the lists. you try downloading 5,000 emails at a time from form submit data manually, for a few million emails.

At the point when i was backing the stuff up i had already bought the server and my ties with these people were severed, they shouldnt have had access to the server to log in, more so, start downloading things which didnt belong to them.

Another example of what i did while i was there was run a CVSUP server from at home where i did a lot of programming to sync stuff i was writing for the company, however, this never came up/was an issue as no one broke into it and stole everything.

How can u say that i stole it? I was asked to do something within a certian amount of time which could have not been all done at the office, i assume you never take work home with you? what if you were to take some work home, someone stole your laptop and your work and released/stole domain names.

Say they hacked in (though it was really an active account that you forgot to cancel), got the list, and started selling it.

1) Why (or were you?) mailing that list also (as Python claims) on another server?

2) How did they know this list was stolen?

if i was just putting in my 44 hour work week and getting only 45k/year CDN then maybe, work weeks were like 60+ hours, being on call 24/7 for two years.

Maybe you would consider employees like that not worth the couple entra bucks to keep happy but i rather give them a couple extra bucks and watch their productivity increase more so.

OK. This is what i have understood so far:

1. notjoe, who is joe, slammed python on another thread.
2. ElvisManson, an employee of python came in and defended the company he works for by calling joe a liar and a thief.
3. joe said he didn't steal the list but that 2 lesbians who have yet to show themselves stole them instead.
4. ElvisManson, told everyone that the lesbians did indeed have the list but DID NOT steal them.
5. joe kept insisting he was overworked and underpaid but was still SO LOYAL that he brought his work home with him.
6. joe kept insisting the lesbians STOLE the list from his server which they LOGGED into.

In conclusion: joe is a lying sack of shit who stole the list. He is stupid enough to have posted the names of the lesbians but are too chicken shit to follow thru. Come on, joe! if they really truly stole from you, why are you so scared? The reason? they did not steal! As for feeling guily/bad/wanting to trash python, so i made one little comment about someones feeds and start a huge fight over what really, a stupid comment i made which could have been dealt with with him saying something personally instead of coming out with this.
