Redirect vbull forum without losing SE rankings

I have a dead forum getting say 400 google hits a day.

How would I redirect that traffic without losing the rankings?

thanks

depends...giving them a permanent re-direct code works sometimes

chances are if you're changing everything though, you will notice some difference for at least 1-2 updates

i suggest just not moving it

Well the forum is dead and has no ad value so I might as well move the traffic anyways even losing google.

I was just wondering if there is a way to do a http redirect that doesn't redirect se spiders.
