I can see both sides to their rule, I think a few people in the past took advantage of being able the spam the show without sponsoring, so they had to clamp down.

It sucks when all my friends can't attend because of it though.

Amen. I will most likely be in L.A. but I will steer clear of the show as requested. The shows are great for the newbies and to visit with friends but that can wait until CybernetExpo and Internext.....Or next year if my plans go through for sponsoring them.
