Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

announcing the membership price? On which page it would be best

I've never seen this discussed before.
Where do you think would be best to announce the membership price to a paysite.
On the tour
the join page on your side
or the join page on the processor's side?

I'm trying to think of surfer's point of view now.
If you offer some super low price or special promo, it will probably be better to announce it on the first page, so he knows right away your site offers a catchy deal.

But what if you have average or high price?
Do you think that letting him know the price on the 3rd page (the processors one where he has to enter his credit card info) will increase the chances of a conversion, since if proceed that far he is more luckuly to join even if the price is 39.95.... for example?

I have mine on the prejoin page (enter user/pass/email before being sent to the biller) like most people... I think having it on the biller page just annoys people without increasing sales in any way.

Free trial or cheap trial = tour and pre-processor page.

No trial + top shelf content = processor page.

If the content is good enough, the price point won't make much of a difference in sales. Bill a higher price for the first month, and a little lower for subsequent months.

Best thing to do though would *edit* [be] *edit* to send to multiple tours with different schemes and see which one works best for you.

I don't own any paysites but it worked very well with a couple of revshare sponsors I was promoting.

not shure about this.
if someone wants to cancel he got reasons why. I am shure a few bucks will not change his mind

Well like I said I've promoted sites that have used that particular scheme and my rebills, according to my own stats where very high.

If you try and cancel a membership the majority of the larger programs out there offer an option for a lower price point to keep you as a member as well.

But as I said, the best thing to do would be to test out the different schemes and see which one does best for you.

I couldn't say, but definitely before the surfer has to input any info. I just found a site that still doesn't announce the price until you've inputted personal details. I couldn't figure out why the ratios were so terrible before I found this.
