![]() Lieberman is keeping up the drumbeat to bomb Iran and it is getting louder according to tonight's Moyer's Report on PBS.
Previous quote from CBS News from 2007: The United States should launch military strikes against Iran if the government in Tehran does not stop supplying anti-American forces in Iraq, Sen. Joe Lieberman said Sunday on Face The Nation. Will we get a new war just before the election? Starting to seem possible as the Republicans want to scare us into another four years under McCain. What do you think? |

I think Americans need to spend more time evolving and less time proliferating weapons.

I hope never.
If the US just hunkered down and quit playing world police, we could invest more in defensive capabilities to make an Iranian nuke meaningless to us. Plus developing alternative energies to make the oil meaningless as well. But no. Corporate war mongers are in charge and all logic goes out the window.

Only a fool with zero knowledge of the situation thinks bombing Iran is the solution.
Hang on a fool thought invading Iraq was the solution and look where that got us. Yes us, I used the right word. The world is suffering because of the invasion of Iraq. Saddam balanced Iran in the Middle East. With him in power there would never be the Iran problem, removing Saddam removed the balance and created the Iraq problem. It also promoted terrorism as a solution to many Muslims. Terrorists used the invasion to brain wash some Muslims into seeing terrorism as the only solution. There are real problems in the Middle East that need to be solved. Bombing people will create more and solve none. |

They need to either wipe these problem countries off the map or withdraw from the region and never go back. NEVER.
Western or civilized thought, policies and democracy have no place in the middle east. |

I bet it will happen before Bush is out. Israel said they would bomb Iran if we didn't before Bush left office a long time ago. I don't see that changing.

Yes allowing Israel to bomb Iran is a really bright idea, if you're a retard. |

I am sure Lieberman does not have dual loyalties either. Amazes me how blind American's are to who is running their ME foreign policy.
