Attractivity of Globill vs Ibill Webmaster Programs

Hi,

I'm thinking about switching from Ibill to Globill because of the Visa and Mastercard Stuff. Its not the fees, its a lot more(mails, attitude...).

If you are a Webmaster who is looking for a referral program would it make it a difference for you to promote a Site if this site bills with Ibill or Globill (and the Webmaster program is based on Ibill or Globill)

Would you rather signup with the IBill program or the Globill Program? As globill is rather unknown in this business I'm afraid that many webmasters aren't attracted to a program which bills with Globill.

Thanks
Eisbaer

I'd be more likely to sign up with a program run by anyone other than iBill. They get EVERYTHING wrong!

"Unknown"? Do a search on GloBill and you'll see that the comments are about 95% positive, and those that complain usually complain about two things: "GloBill notifies customers that a rebill is coming up" and "They charge a bit more than the other processors." Well, what can I say? Chargebacks is a big part of what got the industry into this mess, and if all the other processors had been as on top of preventing chargebacks as GloBill, likely we wouldn't be in this situation. And notification is optional, not mandatory, anyway (though I think if your chargebacks prove high, you'll be forced to use it).

As for a couple points more than the other processors, it shows up in their service, which any webmaster who's worked with a number of processors will tell you, is the best. I don't even have a phone number for their tech support. 30 minutes would be a long wait for a GloBill techie to reply. Less than 15 or 20 minutes would be more typical. Whenever I get a member complaint, I just pass it along to GloBill, and they run with it.

why then is everybody using Ibill and not Globill. Yes i know that Globill has a quite good standing. But why the heck are almost all the big guys I know (scoreland.com, bangbus.com(secondary), using Ibill or bill themselves(hotbox.com).
It I visit the forums at Globill I have the intnention that the most webmasters who are with Globill make less then 1000$ a month. This impression could be awfully wrong, and I'm here that you correct it.

Has anybody experienced drops in signups when switched to globill? And who switched and what are the experiences?

Thanks
Eisbaer

As a straight man have you ever had a thick cock slammed down your throat?

Choose Ibill and you'll soon know what it feels like.

IBill has massive backing from a parent company.. but truth is, that don't mean shit. (Enron/WorldCom)... The IBill track record is not something you can enthuse over..

Globill any day!!

Ok, this is just me, but

I have 11 Partner Id's with Globill

Everyone of those ID's are under one program ID

When I checked in their admin how many hits and sales each site was getting I couldn't find it so I emailed them and asked.

This option is not available.

Basically if you have an affiliate account with Globill you can ad another affiliate site to it, however you do not see which site made what kind of money and what kind of hits certain sites were getting.

So I dropped the Globill account, because I need to know which site I push converts and which sites don't so I can kick them out or push them harder.

I emailed some of the webmasters who have Globill accounts (Escort Cash is my biggest) but never got a responds. So I dropped them.

Just my

I no longer will sign up to anybody who has a globill referal account until they change their admin section and send the link to use for linking in the email. It's been to much of a hazzle

Sorry!

I use both and as much as I love Globill, Ibill has always brought in more dollars for me than Globill.

Ibill converts surfers to members better and keeps the rebills running longer for me, but to be fair I have seen so many posts on the Globill boards over time from people that have gone with only Globill and their money went upwards after making the change.

I think it has had a lot to do with the fact that their name wasnt as well known to surfers (This is changing now after the VISA problems) and traditionally all their webpages have looked a bit tacky and not as professional as those of ibill in my opinion.

So it seems that given an initial choice, surfers will choose Ibill over Globill, if not given a choice they will probably join with Globill but your rebills may still suffer.

Of course it goes without saying that if your doing a niche that does not have many competing sites you will have better results using a biller with a lesser known name and tacky pages than someone running a generic teen site. (My sites by the way, are all niche types)

I set up my site with Globill last weekend, everything was fine until did a test signup.

I hadn't seen their signup form before - GOD NO!

This is the most complicated signup form I've ever seen. And it''s butt ugly! Looks like private homepages used to back in 1995.
I don't dare switching over cause I can't believe anyone would enter his credit card number into that thing. I for sure wouldn't.

They should give some design student 50 bucks to make them a new form.
Btw, their non-english forms claim they take Amex.
When did Amex drop adult?

I'm not sure surfers think a lot about processors. If a guy wants to get into debbiedoesdildos.com (my apologies if there really is such a site), he's going to use IBill, NetBilling, CCBill, GloGill, or whatever.

Thanks for the compliments. I've got the ideas from the best dreamweaver book I ever bought Dreamweaver Magic 4 (not the Version 5 one, this is stupid and boring) .
