Do you think websitebilling.com needs a new logo?

I think their logo sucks. It looks amateur and doesn't inspire confidence in potential customers when they get to the sign-up page.

The IBill logo is much more professional looking.

I just think that when people get to a sign-up page, lots of them are hesitant to hand over that credit card info because they don't know know who they're dealing with.

Lots of people are worried about having their CC info stolen and a lame amateur logo design is not going to help you make more sales.

A good professional logo goes a long way in providing confidence that a company like websitebilling.com isn't just some kid in his parents basement running a billing company with the computer that he got for christmas.

The websitebilling.com banner on GFY says they have been processing since 1996. I bet they have had the same logo since 1996 too!

I don´t think they should get a completly new logo with a

new font, but they should defenetly redo it and

loose that terrible crap inside the font and that old school

shadow. My little sister could do better then that.

Anybody could do better than that logo.

I'm not a graphic designer, but I could make a better logo than that in about 15-20 minutes.

I'm just going to guess and say that you have absolutely no knowledge about branding and brand recognition.

I'll make any webmaster an offer. Design a logo taking the following into consideration and I'll use it on your specific order page and we'll see if it helps you out. We'll pay you for it if we adopt it of course. I'd like to think that being very flexible to customer feedback is what sets us apart.

1. Must be capable of being mounted on any colour background as this is configurable by the client.

2. Must be similar to the current logo to maintain branding.

3. Must include the www.websitebilling.com text because we don't own WSB.com and Washington Service Bureau don't fancy selling.

4. Must be somewhat conservative, you know what I mean!

That curve should be smoother and you should go with green instead of blue.

Thanks. Those are both good and interesting ideas. I'd have to look at how they'd mount on a dynamic colour background. I suspect not too well. That's generally been a stumbling block for most logos without some sort of border.

In some ways I wish we didn't have that feature but it's quite nice to keep the look and feel of the paysite on the joinpage with the same colours and the co-branding with the paysite logo.

Thanks for the feedback.

Mitch, you?re welcome. I?ve reed somewhere that green represents security (and red = passion, orange = joy etc.).

Robert, you might try with two logos ? one with black outline and another with white outline, both on a transparent background. These should go well with any kind of the background, webmasters could test which one works better.

I dont think websitebilling needs a new logo. It is actually the services which attract the customers and not the logo.

I just have one question about websitebilling. That search box in the upper right corner of http://www.websitebilling.com/ is a gif image... why? If it's not going to be a functional search the site might look slicker with just black in place of the search box.

WSB should spend their resources to iron out their flaws....then worry about their logo.

Partied with them at some of the shows.....Great people. I hope they get things tweaked a little better.
