Can you chargeback a paypal payment?

Not for anyone I've worked with recently, don't worry guys!

Not even alot of money but just the principle. I hate it when losers act like they can do the work and they just don't have a clue and fuck off. Never to be seen again. Recurring theme in this biz, really.

You should be able to, yes. Dispute the transaction with Pay Pal.

Cool! I'll give it a try. It's just for wordpress templates. Nothing adult related IMO

Thanks guys

Don't bother. You can only chargeback on tangible items

That's true, and it only goes so far back, I think 90 days and it could be 30 days. I'm not positive.

Also, if the mention of the word "adult" is used, or was used in the payment notes, you'll both use your account.

I had a guy whom i delivered everything to do dispute 5-6 payments he made to me two weeks after the job was said, done, delivered and i thought everyone was happy. I tried to show paypal proof of the deliverables but they didn't give me a chance, my account was ran -$800 in the red and locked, needless to say, that really fucked me.

Same thing -600 paypal does NOTHING to really protect the seller, it's all about protecting the buyer

Sad really. There are cheaters and losers on either side. Ultimately it's genuine webmasters who pay. I get ripped off somehow about twice a year.

I've never had any luck disputing anything with paypal even with offering to show them the 19 letters to the company who screwed me. They never had to prove they delivered crap to me and all I got was a big fuck you for my effort.

It's shitty, especially when they drained my checking account to cover as much of the differance as they could (i'm no big baller, i'm like just about any other coder and live week to week :/)
