wireless help please
I just bought this lynksys wireless router the other day and it has its own firewall built in. Ever since I set it up I haven't been able to connect to any of my web sites via ws ftp pro. I upgraded to ws ftp pro 7 and still no go. I installed bulletproof ftp and still wasn't able to connect. I had no other option but to go wireless since my office is in an uncabled part of the house. Does anybody know a solution?

I have it in passive mode. Win xp have been fucking up on me for a while now so I just formatted and installed it again. Hopefully this takes care of some of it.

Try putting your computer in the DMZ (use the web gui for the router) and see if that helps. If you are using XP, make sure you have the built in firewall shut off.

Also, Service Pack 1 is available for Windows XP, so you should apply that through windows updates.
