Interesting. It doesn't surprise me that they were labelled racist. That's unfortunate. The fact is that not wanting to service particular parts of town because it would endanger your life, does not make you a racist. If the cabbies said that they wouldn't pick up any black guy needing a ride (say, in the nicest part of town) then I can see some legitimacy to the claim. But as it stands, one cannot conclude they are racist because they don't want to get robbed or shot on the job.

Why do people complain about racial injustices, yet have interracial children just to put them through a similar hell? Is it because the racial injustices really don't exist, or because they're more concerned about the pussy than the welfare of their children?

Why don't minorities take advantage of the available resources that are provided to them ONLY and create a better lifestyle for themselves?

How can a single mother of 3 successfully hold down two jobs AND attend school, while a 22 year old man with no responsibilities cannot maintain average grades to fulfill his scholarship requirement?

Why are we, as a society, constantly trying to change people that don't want to change? Why don't people understand that others do not AND will not change for the better unless they hold the proper motivation within?

Racial injustices is not a reason to stop procreating. We can say the same for religous people. Christians who are persecuted should stop teaching their childired Christian values. Where would that logic get us? Nowhere. In some respects, interracial marriage may be seen as a way of combating racial injustices. A way of saying 'fuck you, there is nothing wrong with this so we're going to do it to spite you'.

Not all blacks feel this way though. I'm half black and Cherokee Indian and I was raised by my black mother. She taught me and my sister that everyone was equal until they showed otherwise, in terms of their character. You see not all black individuals feel that way. I'm glad my mother taught us that way. My sister on the other hand does not feel the same way I do about everyone being equal. She left home at an early age and made her own determination. Myself on the other hand am younger, and lived with my mom, and was molded by all races, because of my mother and her open views. I guess it's to each their own. I respect that, but when the views become warped and stereotypical then that's where it becomes destructive.

So just because an interracial child might meet a few obstacles in life due to his/her skin color interracial couples shouldnt make babies? Why not ban ugly people from making babies as well so we can make sure their ugly children wont be picked on in high school.

I should have clarified what I meant. The "fittest" have good jobs (income), nice cars, nice houses, and for the most part are fairly happy with their lives. The "weak" complain, bitch, and moan how everyone "is" equal, all while jumping from job to job, riding the bus to work because their car is in the shop again, and scrambling to find rent money.

From the start, my dad always told me I was not equal and will never be equal to most people. BUT, he also said that I could "DO" equal, and even better, than most people if I just stuck to my guns and worked hard. Might have to work harder than most people, but that's life. Deal with it and move on, the results will be well worth it.

Indians for example are Asian, but they look totally different from Filipinos, Chinese, and Japanese. However Fillipinos, Chinese, and Japanese do share certain genes for skin color, hair color, eye color, and facial features. But each ethnic group also shares distinct differences.

That's my 2 cents on the subject.
