Anyone here sell on ebay?
I have a few things lying around that I'm thinking of getting rid of. Was thinking about starting to sell on ebay but I don't know anything about selling on there. I've bought a few things have about 6 positive feedback to get me started. I was hoping you guys could maybe give me some tips and advice.

Sell a few cheap items first - more cred (at least at the beginning) also means more bidders therefore more dollars. All of their fees are getting a bit nuts, so host your own images if you need different views of things (you get one free one now, but that's it - the rest cost I think 15 cents each or some shit). If you know it is going to sell - say some strange but in demand collectible, start low to save yourself some listing fees - but rather than set a reserve, make the reserve your starting price (a little cheaper that way). A lot of it depends on what you are selling. Just remember that it will cost you some money whether you sell it or not.

I sell all kinds of stuff on Ebay. Lycanthrope had some good points. I always use a pic host to host my images. Images are key to selling your stuff. The better pics you take the more bids you get. Also be truthful, if there is a scratch on something mention it. Never lie or you will get neg feedback or worse your item sent back & you have to refund the money. Write up a good description; model number, specs, size!
Good luck!
