Actually last valentines day I went to the flower shop to get my wife some roses. All the guys there were buying a dozen for their sweeties. I asked for ONE. The sales lady made fun of me as a cheapskate in front of all the other guys and they all felt superior.

So I asked them, how much more bang for your buck will the 11 roses get you? Noneone answered. Suddenly they all put back the dozen roses and everyone bought just one each, like me. Man was that sales lady pissed off. Serves her right for making fun of me though. She lost about $200 in sales there. My wife was soooo happy to get a rose cause she hadn't gotten one in a long time. One or 12, it made no difference - I still got laid that night.

mathew and luke were written about 75 years after his death.

Mark was written about 50 years after his death and considered by non-religious biblical historans to be the most historically accurate gospil of the events of Jesus's life.


interesting that most churches take John as the most authorative gospil and usually avoid mark.
