				 | Question for the ladies What's the best home hair removal system for semi-long term smoothness? I've tried the creams (don't work for shit), those little epilady things (no longer epilady, but I can't remember the name of it now), and Nads, which works the best so far, but I end up one big sticky mess by the time I'm done. Any suggestions? |

				 | A friend of mine swears by the laser treatment. I haven't tried it though.

				 | I've thought about laser, but my brother-in-law, a tattoo artist for almost 20 years now, talked me out of it by telling me he can't begin to count the number of times he's had to cover up scars caused by laser hair removal. So I'm a little hesitant to go that route. |

				 | If you had to choose, which is more important, long term results, or smoothness without irritation? |

				 | I hate waxing, gives me ingrown hair and you always have to grow that shit out for two weeks until it's long enough to wax. I shave - for me it's the best. I heard laser hair removal works but it's expensive...

				 | I use personal shavers like DBS mentions. It isn't long term, but no irriation, and I can shave the same day as shoots. |

				 | Every day 2 to 3 times a day moisturize!! Then just shave like normal. You would be surprised how much the excessive moisturizing helps. |

				 | imho.. 1. Lazer is great if you have a good technician performing it. 2. Getting waxed.. its worth the money & is over fast. I used to try to wax at home & it is messy. 3. if you are shaving your bikini.. shave with neosporin creme!! This is the best tip I ever received. You will NEVER get razor burn or ingrown hairs! |

Anne, I'll pass on the last suggestion to others, as I know of others that don't have the same issues that I do. Maybe Missy will try it with the neosporin cream, and let us know of the results? | |

				 | Waxing is your friend. After the first time or two, it doesn't really hurt that bad. I usually talk on my cell phone while I'm having it done. But I wouldn't do it at home. I think it's like coloring your hair. It's just one of those things that you should spend the dough and let somebody do it right.
