Do you guys save your reciepts from your checks?
I throw mine away, should I be saving them?
I figure I can always just call up my stats when I need to know how much a check was, and to print them out for tax time. |

I keep all mine. But here at work we have our information in the system, so we can go back like from the time we started. I recommend keeping them for tax preparation time. You do not want to be cheated, even though the IRS fucks us anyway.

Why wouldn't you keep them? If there is ever a discrepancy, you always have a legal document to refer to.

I saved em. The amount of my checks are usually lower than my stats due to CC processor fees, etc. I don't want to pay taxes on money I didn't receive.

Save them. Why not? It helps also if you need to prove your income for a lease or something.

Not only do we save the stubs, we photocopy the original cheques and file those away.
