I was looking at the posts and saw his Best & Worst Used Cars. I was thinking that all of us must have a funny story about the worst car you've owned. Here's mine: I lived in Maui for about 9 months and bought a car while I was over there for $125- dollars. It was a sweet, rust brown, 1980 something (early) two seater (no back seat) mustang, ripped holes all over the used to be white interior (which were covered with beach towels) rust holes through the floor board so you can see how fast you are going (the speedometer was broken) as were the wiper blades. To turn the thing on you started it normally with the key and pushed a button under the steering colum (that's pretty classy) you could also take the keys out while it was running. And to top it off, when you were driving if you hit a bump the lights would turn off. That's especially fun in Hawaii where they don't really have street lights and it is dark as hell. The thing did run though. It took me all over the island and on a couple of dates (gotta love a girl that would hop into that ride) When I left I just gave it to my friend Utah who was so stoked. He took off for the other side of the island and the car never made it back. I heard he jumped it into some sacred Hawaiian pool on the North Shore all Dukes OF Hazzard style (lol)
