FireFox crashing more and more?

Anyone else have this problem lately? Firefox seems to be crashing couple times a day for me. Not sure if its the sites or the browser has just gone to shit. Thinking of trying out the new beta....anyone else running it?

Firefox has crashed fewer times for me in the over three years I've been using it than IE used to in one week.

I use Firefox and it's ok for me, once in a while it causes problems, but not often.

Last FF version is unstable. I also witnessed several crashes, never happened before.

does not crash for me, but gets extremely slow often. I have a lot of tabs open and a bunch of add ons running, but i would still expect it to be faster.

Any tricks for speeding things up?

Yeah, especially when closing yahoo mail beta. I just upgraded to FF3 beta. Let's see how it goes. Seems like more responsive already.

k-meleon, I've been using it for years, firefox is a fag slow bullshit compared to k-meleon

it takes some time getting used to it, it has its minor bugs too, but once you get comfortable with it you'll never go back, EVER!!!

It has been crashing, in my case I have a 3D nvidia card that adds some buttons to the title bar. Those buttons dissappear when the crash happens, and my guess is that it happens with certain sites only. My FF version is 2.0.0.13.

If anyone why this happens or how to fix it, share the knowledge pls!

No problems here, however I do have to restart it every 8 hours or so (it's starts eating all of the memory available) ...... can't wait for version 3
