Yeah, guess Sharks thought the game is already in their hands. And what the irony that Owen Nolan scored the game winner against the team where he spent 8 years and was team captain most of those years.

Washington was another disappointment that night, where was it's youngsters with all their firepower? Boston showed its teeth and New Jersey took that much needed OT win on a road.

look, blowing the whistle would have been to the flyers advantage. no way should a ref blows the whistle when a guy blocks a shot. if a ref does, it opens the doors for a new way to stop play in the defensive zone.

I had the Flyers getting past the Caps, the boys from Washington are a little green and the Flyers, though not quite the Broad Street Bullies, would make their first playoff a painful one.
