I've personally never had a problem with requesting access... :2 cents:

I've noticed a steady rise in refunds/chargebacks, as well as cancellations. My revshare sales are going up every month but my rebills are staying the same or even dropping :Oh crap

nikki99 04-05-2008 01:50 PM

some bad stuff there

tranza 04-05-2008 02:13 PM

That's fucked up man... I just recently had my own personal record for chargebacks on the same day, but it was only 3, from the same sponsor.

:(

Try getting more than 1 phone sign up a week and then we will talk.

Get ready for a lot more crap like this as the economy gets worse.

Surfers doing chargebacks.

Webmasters cheating.

... watch.

Horny Alf 04-05-2008 03:22 PM

tiger 04-05-2008 06:30 PM

so have I, more this year so far than all of 07 combined

it's a horrible "trend" i'm just hoping it's just a bad luck streak though, but i think it's bigger than that, maybe it is the thing with the economy :helpme

This seems to have started in January and to my eyes is some sort of banking - processing thing rather than a surfer issue. It really looks like the acquiring banks have tightened processing criteria and therefore scrubs.

In my case it seems the refund/chargeback spike has passed. One interesting thing was that most of these were older transactions, 3 to 6 months.

The thing that has me most concerned at the moment is the ball crunchingly tight scrubs that all the processors seem to have now.

No one can convince me this option is not a waste of time and resources.

the more refunds/chargebacks you are getting means you are making good sales :)

Karupted Charles 04-06-2008 08:02 PM

Guys have you not seen this every year? Its tax season all the turds that don't look at the cc statements and "forgot" they got rebilled get asked by the accountant what it is.

Every year year after year March and April are the worst. You will see one guy charge back sometimes for months or try to atleast.

Wow... lol you don't know much about my site.

I fact, I have 1 affiliate as an example, who has been pushing the site now for about 5 years. In that time he has made 2170 sales, and $40,948 dollars and at TOTAL of 2 chargebacks and 2 refunds, and 2 of those where from the same member.
