I've noticed a steady rise in refunds/chargebacks, as well as cancellations. My revshare sales are going up every month but my rebills are staying the same or even dropping :Oh crap

TR is 8 of them so far this year... Very strange.

Over the last 30 days, I have had more returned checks than all of 2007.

I had 59 last period all by 2 users on AWE last period. :)

This seems to have started in January and to my eyes is some sort of banking - processing thing rather than a surfer issue. It really looks like the acquiring banks have tightened processing criteria and therefore scrubs.

In my case it seems the refund/chargeback spike has passed. One interesting thing was that most of these were older transactions, 3 to 6 months.

The thing that has me most concerned at the moment is the ball crunchingly tight scrubs that all the processors seem to have now.

No one can convince me this option is not a waste of time and resources.

the more refunds/chargebacks you are getting means you are making good sales :)

Guys have you not seen this every year? Its tax season all the turds that don't look at the cc statements and "forgot" they got rebilled get asked by the accountant what it is.

Every year year after year March and April are the worst. You will see one guy charge back sometimes for months or try to atleast.

I fact, I have 1 affiliate as an example, who has been pushing the site now for about 5 years. In that time he has made 2170 sales, and $40,948 dollars and at TOTAL of 2 chargebacks and 2 refunds, and 2 of those where from the same member.
