And I'm not trying to be snarky by asking either. It's a serious question. There are a lot of people who are passionate about the issue and believe this was necessary for our safety. Yet not necessary enough to enlist.

Underlined and mark out. Actually I wanted to say the same thing. If China invade USA just because they don't like the US system. Could I call the US defenders (is there any) the terrorists, or it will be wrong to apply such a name to the ppl. that fighting for their country against the fuckin' invaders?

Agreed, everything that Bush is doing in Iraq is TERRORISM.. He already killed over ONE MILLION civilians. Isn't that enough for a real terrorist, or the number deaths should be higher? How much?

A) comparing the 2 is rediculous.

B) sure YOU can live with it because you are a pussy who won't go and fight yourself. Put up or shut the fuck up.

C) I would LOVE to see you in person tell a room full of families of fallen soldier that you can "live with" their loved ones deaths. Of course you won't because as I said you're pussy that says shit on an internet board they wouldn't say to real people.

And if you think sending ppl off to fight in a bullshit war started on false pretenses is not murder, then Im sorry to say you're wrong. And that's not even mentioning all the civilians you put in harms way, and killed.

Exactly Falcon. How dare Iraqi's stand up and fight for their own country. :disgust

But what could you expect from people who identify with terrorists from a remote desert?

1 Death? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993)

Eighteen American soldiers died and 73 were wounded (another American soldier, Delta operator SFC Matt Rierson, was killed in a mortar attack two days later). Among UN forces, 1 Malaysian soldier died and 7 were wounded, along with 2 Pakistanis.

You can live with it? That has to be the most selfish comment I've ver heard.

I was thinking the same thing when I went through it, but that is what the DOD classified:

Maybe they put them under homicides? I don't know how the DOD classifies deaths.

Of course you can. It's not you fighting over there. Chickenhawks just talk about war as if it's a movie.

its all bullshit

The funny thing is that in order for the US to remove troops from Iraq, at least a million US soldiers will have to die there, like a 2nd Vietnam. This war has lasted more than WWII and presidents not care at all about it, more than half the country is against it, yet the troops remain, and will remain there for many more years. And don't believe Obama or Hillary or any democrat will remove troops 'cause that's just silly. Iraq War is not over and it's just plain sad that a lot of people within US borders will have to die to make people with real power realize that this war is a battle already lost!
