Just Reinstall Xp X64.. I am sick of this shit..

I seem like I re-install x64 ever couple of months.. I have my own dvd.. that I just boot off.. it installs xp, itune, winrar, all the drivers I need, and some other stuff..

Right now.. if I load photoshop..it take about 6 sec to load.. and I just burned a dvd in under 5 mins..

Earlier today.. before I re-formated my system.. photoshop was taking a 1min and half to load.. and I buring a DVD was almost 30 mins..

I am wondering on my new go around.. if I should RE-TRY vista.. the first couple of times I hated vista.. maybe with the new service pack.. it will be better..

Now.. I need to re-install linux.. and set up my dual boot system.. just another day wasted..

Have you defragged your drive(s) lately? I left my laptop running defrag overnight recently and it made a huge difference in response time when an app (or the comp) was starting up.

You can use norton ghost to do a backup of your system after a new & clean resinstallation, and then re-use the backup when you see your system is really too slow...
