why not kill 2 birds with one stone as bj suggested and join one.

Signup for a sponsor promoting a site you would like to emulate then ask if you can signup thru your own ref code , this way it only costs you a few dollars , you have a month to look over the members area and you get to see if they shave or not. ( you will want something to upsell anyways )

I'm already an affiliate a lot of sponsors and have made them (as well as me or course) money so I'm not completely freeloading. I should have asked one of them first, I guess.

Yes, I am going to be looking for upsells/cross sells. I feel a bit awkward signing up under my own refcode, but if it's revshare it's no problem I guess. Your shaving point is one very well made!
