Software to make smaller flv files from larger videos and add url overlay?

Which software can let me make small (1 -5 minute) flv files from larger 20 minute mpeg files? I would also like it to add a url overlay on the videos.

Thanks, but I dont just need a splitter. I need something that will take my selected segment from the mpeg file and encode to flv, watermarking my url on it.

There are three different steps to accomplish here, most of which can be made with a variety of tools. 1- splitting the file, 2- converting to Flash and 3- adding a watermark. I don't think that you will be able to find one inexpensive shareware tool to do all three processes unfortunately, but VideoCharge will probably be the most useful. You might try the shareware apps Boilsoft Splitter or VideoCharge to split the file; I think that VideoCharge can encode to flash, otherwise Adobe Flash encoder or Flix Pro or a full featured encoding app like Sorenson Squeeze can also do this. Finally there are specific shareware apps that can add a watermark url. I forget offhand if VideoCharge can do this, if so you might want to try a shareware version of that app, otherwise you can download a freeware app like VirtualDub and play around with that, or just break down and spend money on a full featured video encoding app like Cleaner XL 1.5 to split the files by hand, encode to Flash and add the watermarks as a .png file.

Videocharge does it all.

It can convert to wmv,xvid,mp4,flv,avi,mpeg2 and more, split, watermark and even upload it to specific folders on your server in one click.

Was going to suggest VideoCharge, but someone beat me to it. Great tool for any quick and dirty video job you might have.
