My domain expired 11 days ago...how in the FUCK...
is it for sale on SEDO already?
I thought there was a grace peroid where you could get it back from the registrar that you purchased it from. I've done that before but now it's in someone elses hands already! How is this possible?

You should still have a few days to re-register, unless someone sniped it from you. The lowest I recall for release was two weeks.

Usually its 30 days that you have to reregister it. That my domain register gives me anyway.

If it's worth something pay the $111 then, but I doubt it is since you let it expire.

There is no minimum required grace period for .COM / .NET domains that are expired.
With that said, most registrars usually give a week or two and some even much longer, but to reiterate, registrars are not required too. The only time a grace period is basically guaranteed is when a domain enters the "delete cycle", then the registry's grace period automatically kicks in ... though getting ownership back at that point can cost hundreds of dollars. However, many domains, especially if they are perceived as valuable, never enter the delete cycle ... instead the ownership is simply changed from the previous registrant (owner) to someone else by the registrar - and yes, that's permitted. It's often safest to stick directly (going through resellers can be risky!) with the "big name" registrars that have good reputations and well documented grace periods ... It's often the little known registrars is where people run into problems of their domains suddenly disappearing; some put little to no effort in reminding registrants about expiration, which further makes domain loss likely. Sedo always lists sites for sale that they do not own. Just renew it and set up an auto-rebill for the next time.

There is no way you would lose the domain 11 days after its expired. Either you're wrong about the expiry date or someone stole it.
