No Country For Old Men

Saw that flick last night and it was the worst movie of 2008 for me. No action, bad story and a way toooooooo long. Not even a single HOT CHICK in the whole flick! No fucking clue why its still #38 on imdb.

I have no idea why it's so high rated. I didn't really mind watching it but it wasn't really mind blowing as I expected it to be.

I loved it...maybe it helped i saw it early before all of the massive hype that it got...

I loved the way Chiguhr just stalks and stalks and stalks. I like movies that don't necessarily show you everything. They make you think a little and sometimes you're stuck debating if you loved it or hated it.

I understand it's definitely not a crowd pleasing popcorn type flick, but the Coen Brothers just don't produce those kinds of movies.

i loved it and thought it deserved to win Best Picture.

I too saw it before the hype hit and part of the reason I enjoyed it so much is that I was still thinking about scenes from the movie even a week later. that is always the mark of a good film for me.

I thought it was a good movie aside from the horrible ending.

I loved the ending (after having to really sit there in the theater and think about it for a bit), but admit it came out of left field...but it you really pay attention to the narration at the beginning, the ending makes more sense...

I haven't read the book yet, but understand that it ends the same way...

Didn't see it yet.
But I can wait to see it in DVD. Just out of curiosity to see if I can see why it won the Oscars.
