If it's compatible...Lucky enough it was with mine. I'm far from a cell guru myself but It works - not the easiest to use but you get used to it.

I can surf the boards, check my bank account, etc..

I went from a Nokia with a black and white screen, to the Blackberry 8310 w/ GPS and I can't describe how great the phone is.

Like someone previously said, the Opera browser is really a well done piece of software that is very similar to the iPhone Safari browser.

And Google Maps is a life saver. If I'm in a city I'm not familiar with, and you need to find something... your directions are right there. It will direct you right to the doorstep of wherever you want to go.

Not a big fan of the virtual keypad, but I find websurfing on the iPhone to be enjoyable.

+1 for Opera in other cases.

The tmobile MDA worked pretty good, but I'm pretty sure that's old news now (going on 2 years old now I think) plus it only supported .HTM browsing

I have been using a helio ocean with the opera mini hack.. Was using a sidekick, but this is way better..

If you're with ATT or Sprint, you gotta get the Palm Centro!! It has a full qwerty keyboard, awesome browser, and email capabilities as well as IM that's just sweet!! Get the red, though!
