CSS is pretty deep if you really do it right. Trying to teach yourself might be a little tough. http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp is a great resource. You can also look at other professional sites style sheets and use them as reference.

just read a tutorial and start coding with it. google what you dont know until u end up knowing most of it.

Start off with taking little bits from http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp or play around with existing CSS files.

After building a few sites you should already know the majority of it. That always works with me.

just start using divs here and there, you'll catch on. Took me a long time, but eventually got it. I'm probably one of the few hardcore css guys in this industry. I made the switch to 100% w3c valid CSS back in Jan of 2006. Have not looked back since.
