get the SEO book assuming you don't know much yet. I don't know your level, but if you want to learn alot in a short period its great.

i can recommend some more advanced ones depending on where you are.

im going to do the seobook thanks guys. i know some stuff, bits and pieces of really good stuff, but it wouldnt hurt for me to read a begginers book.

seo books are a waste of money. every single word printed can be found on blogs and forums for free. e-books especially. most of them are filled with the same stuff written by the same people.
