How to check which sites link to me

I'm a SE n00b I know google, but not much results. Is google the best way to check it, and actually view the results?

Yahoo site explorer, type "link:www.yourdomain.com" into Yahoo and it will take you there. Note that Yahoo counts an img src across domains as a "link"

This site may also offer you some clues

Actually, you should check both. There are plenty of sites that have mixed links going to the same "page" but on different hostnames. www.domain.com is not necessarily assumed to be the same as domain.com.

Visit this link and checkout the format, -site:gfy.com is used to eliminate the links to gfy.com FROM gfy.com.

PS. http://www.gfy.com/ should be replaced with the page for which you are checking links. It can be https://gfy.com/ or any specific internal page.
