If I were to give credit to just one thing I would say age, followed by site depth. . . . but it is never just one thing.

"Alot of Seo’s will show you what their ”clients” results are or were. Stop talking to these guys, you want to see results they have for thier stuff. What they did on someone elses stuff with someone elses resources has nothing to do with your site and what you have, or with what they have to bring to the table. Unless that client is offering you their resources, its completely irrelevant. "
Interesting part of the article, but it's not that simple especially in the adult sector. Assuming you find a truly good seo that will decide to take over your site/s. The only reason he would do it is: You will pay him more than he would have earned alone. Consider now what it takes for this to happen. a) you can provide resources he doesn't have access to, therefore he couldn't get such results on his own anyhow b) You run some decent affiliate program and you are in position to pay him more than he would make as an affiliate. Feel free to add your own |

Why do you think Matt Cutts gives out fake info? |

They dont have to have all that. They could just say "fuck off" to webmasters and figure it out yourself. Why spend millions of dollars and time creating fake tools to fake out seo people? |
Quote:
they run a huge huge list and you would have to think they would want their searches to be as relevant as can be, with these tools, that might make it easier for them? they have tools yes, but they dont post their algo and what to do to get ranked, thats up to you to figure out. i could be completely wrong here, but... who knows but them... |
my god...

This is really a stupid question without knowing the site, what it is promoting, how many others are promoting it, etc, etc.
If you are the first promoting a product that no one else is, backlinks and content mean jack. |

both are important. It would always be on the person optimizing it... and the way he/she build the techniques that matters.

links , links and one more time links:)

Well, its has always been a combination of different factors .. their weight just kept changing over the time. Every one knows search engines keep tweaking their shit from the day one.
But yeah, once factor that can dominate all others are backlinks, you can get an empty single page site ranked for literally any term if whole fucking world start linking to you (examples are ranking of adobe page, google.com and yahoo.com for totally unrelated terms "click here", "exit" etc..) . Of course its not easily possible in reality, but in case it happen .. nothing can prevent you from ranking, so what I mean is .. backlinks alone have power to dominate every other factor .. may be out-weight is better word for this? not sure. The guy who is saying content is major factor, is also right ... but how? If you have some quality content (well informative article, useful tool, a big news, astonishing video etc) .. you will get ranked, because people love linking to such things from forums, their blogs and stuff ... so, backlinks are what getting you ranked again, but indirectly. |

content means nothing. you don't need it to rank, you may only need it when you get a handjob so g keeps you around. links is all it boils down to. then again, because i don't have 50k posts on this surfer forum and won't give you my bread and butter i know nothing, right? :upsidedow |

I already have 1st page listings for my keywords on the sites I care about. That said, I obviously do not need your "hot tips" :1orglaugh:1orglaugh. However, it's nice you keep up with all these other SEO "experts" who can make these delusions of grandeur claims, but never back them up. I believe Shoebitch did a show about you types a few weeks back. It was just as entertaining as your "expertise". :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh They rank right up there with the weather man. Wrong most of the time, but still manage to stay employed. Classic comedy. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

I don't think anybody in this thread was offering you tips anyways, they were attempting to answer the posters question. This is about the 4th time in this thread you have said nobody can back up their claims to being seo masters, (allthough nobody has claimed to be one). But it seems you are the one here whose shit dont stink, and seems to think they are the only one who has a clue, which is yet to be seen. How about you back up your mouth, and show us some results? Or are you just here to bash everybody who offers some answers, and ask everyone else to back up with serps? Let's see some of yours. Remember how you answered the people who didnt want to post results here, im sure thats the same answer we will get from you also. |

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Funny. You SEO's come in. Make claims. Never can back up anything, then try and pull this trick. It's hilarious how predictable you guys are, and why most just laugh at the concept of an "SEO expert". As I said, pure comedy. |

Now to your other post. I've explained what has worked for ME. I do not do SEO. As I have stated multiple times. I also do not do link building, and haven't for years. However many claim this is the most important. Hence the original question posed in this thread. Furthermore, you might want to reread the thread in it's entirety ace. I posted my experiences, and then was greeted with this.. Quote:
Coming into a thread, and just telling everyone that it's full of misinformation, or wrong is not of benefit to anyone. |
looks like we were right jdoughs :winkwink: talk about predictable, and hypocritical.
so much for practicing what you preach. i think the joke is on you here. the one who screams about examples refuses to give them :winkwink: |

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Thanks for proving my point. Yet another SEO "expert" called on the carpet, and his strategies are so top secret, HE doesn't even know them. My sites are not top secret asshat. Anyone with a braincell can find them. |

i will show you soo many fucking terms your head will spin. i am not claiming to be an "expert" but my stats sure tell me i am doing something right. |

is wiredwebonline yours? i'm interested to see where it is in the ranks for your keywords. i've yet to come across it, even for that 7 word phrase you're going for, even with quotes where there are only 97k results. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh i guess when your arguments get deflated, the last ditch effort is petty name calling.. sad |
