A call for webmasters - what sites are worth the effort now? Some people say the future is behind tube sites, the others still think TGPs rule. What's your point of view?

Let's say if you had to start everything from scratch now. What type of site would you launch?

Anything launched with determination and hard work will bear fruit in this business if the person also has some knowledge to back up their work. That's my feeling on it anyway.

tube sites are sweet as long as theyre worthwhile for both the affiliate and program owner and not just a pit of stolen content

ive seen some betas of new ones coming that are definitely worthwhile

Yea, 100% agree with you Chris. But we have to take into account financial and time investment. Of course we'll try to minimize the costs of a project to the minimum effective level and that's where we'll have to decide on priorities. For example about 5 years ago it was relatively easy to start a link list and get decent traffic from free sites and SEs. Now hardly I know any webmaster launching new link lists due to the changes in SE algos and etc. Yes, many link lists still rank well in SEs, but most of them are mixed site types

No doubt that would be good, but the Adult market is so fast flowing that very soon you'll find many sites that have "borrowed" the idea from you if your project becomes successful

And "something that no one else is doing" sounds pretty abstract
