We first met when we were both freshmen in this biz (fuckin' A, how times flies) - a decade later and we're both still standing (minus the thick hair).

Longevity in this business is all about perseverance and adapting to change - and anyone that is still standing since the mid-90's has proven that they've got it.

Thanks Alec! It's hard to believe it's been 10 years of just my Players Balls. I was doing parties for WebSideStory for a year or 2 before that. Hard to believe I've been doing it for this long.

Luckily, we've always had sponsors paying the bills.

The people through the years change, the business models of our industry changes, the only thing that has stayed the same is the Players Ball vibe. I can honestly say that we always have the right artists, venue and vibe. Oh yeah, and I always have a nice outfit to wear with a pimp hat at every Players Ball.

My core group that have helped me through the years are:

My wife Jennifer, KB, King Adam, DJ Evan from XPays, J$tyle$ and the Gnomes. So huge thanks to them for their support over the last 10 years!

Also, big thanks to the trade shows over the years:
IA2000, Internext, XBiz, Webmaster Access, AEE and Cybernet Expo

I'm excited to see where the road ahead takes this event.
