As you make so much cash from us I have an idea to stop this mass exodus to Globill...This will increase your profits in the long run and I am going to be kind and not charge you for this idea.

Say a client is a small fish in the ocean and is only doing $10k per year that results in $1500 in processing fees - which you will lose. If someone were to offer you a guaranteed scheme to treble your money in a year you would go for it right? Well you only have to pay $500 to Visa..so you pay it for us. That $500 will result in you keeping the client and making that $1500 over the next year...easy!

What he said is what I have been thinking all along. The IPSPs should pay all or some of the $750. After all, they are making plenty of other profit off of us. Everyone is saying "don't whine, its a business expense"... Well, as far as I am concerned, that sounds like a business expense for their business, not my line of work.

Personally I am happy to see the fees. The way I look at it, it should chase all of the newbies out of the business and leave more potential customers for the rest of us. If you can't afford the fees, it may be time to find a real job. Just pay up and look at it as your dues to the self-employed club.

Krome, I have the same exact question about the "US Presence" term . I dont think a shell corp is what Visa is looking for when they approve someone. It costs Visa 10x as much to prosecute someone outside the U.S. and I think this territory issue is an attempt to end that problem. It will be very interesting to see how it pans out the first time Visa calls Ibill to investigate fraud and all they find is a shell corp owned by a guy in France.

The only way they are going to see the light, is if in fact there is a mass exodus, to, say Globill or setting up individual Merchant Accounts. It will be awhile before the dust settles and adjustments are made. Try they all had a meeting and sorted out the $750 each, then sent out mass mailing to all their customers hoping no-one would desert them...$250 for their clerical work? I came here to learn what these new rules were over the last few days. All I see is a bunch of little worthless bitches complaining about having to pay $750.00 and it must be the 3rd party processors fault. This was a Visa decision. I am sure they hate these rules just as much as we do. If you are not making about $2.00 per day to pay to Visa. You need to go flip burgers again. Hell most people in other jobs pay that much to just drive to work. One thing that will be nice is that a bunch of these little bitches will now just have to send us successful webmasters more traffic. Translation = You Bitches get back to work and start sending that traffic to us real webmasters.
