101 reasons to be on Potters side.

I've worked with Jon a lot and potter a few times as well and known them for few years. Jon has never not paid me for work, but I don't see how you can miscommunicate for almost a whole year at no which time money was ever paid. Despite never having a bad experience with bods I still kind of have to call BS on this one. How can you justify not paying him anything over the course of 9 months. Really man, you honestly feel you don't owe him a cent? This is a pretty shitty situation. :(

If you accept the work and used it, even if it's only for a short time you should pay for it. Maybe it's ok to try to negotiate a smaller payment if things didn't work right at the start, but not try to delay payments then claim it was bad work.

Very unprofessional on your part and puts you on the wrong side IMO. From what I read you accepted the work.. so pay him.

btw you seem to be ignoring his claims that:

A) you are still using the members area design and coding.
b) you are still using the design as a alt tour for affiliates.

this does not strengthen your case.

I only think I'm better than you. You're the one with a negative rep, and ban status on almost every forum on the net. There's a reason no one (including me) take worth in anything you have to say. You're also showing your complete ignorance in this issue. You don't know the price of a single design project I've done in the past five years.

waiting to see if Britney was going to reply I heard she got screwed and wasn't paid either - and also wondering if the Poncho guys could shed some light if they got the content that potter designed, if they did then this bods guy is selling content he never paid for - something to look into if you are suing him.

What a d-bag though - good luck in getting your money potter hopefully new people to the business see this and learn from it..

Like I said. You have a negative rep, and have been banned all over the place. You proved my own point by saying you've been banned at those places. The fact your ban expired at two of them doesn't take away from that. How many times were you banned at cfus? How many nicks have you made on gfy? I've never screwed anyone over in this biz, and never been labeled a scammer. The same cannot be said for yourself.
