Not true at all. The only people that had interest in the site were the three investors. I have always liked Brian's work. When I showed it to a few people, none of them were happy with how it turned out. That is why we got a new designer Harvey, who did an amazing job.

I thought I had learned my lesson and had always gotten payment upfront. Even with the first couple projects with Jon. Problem is, with the friendship that was built I trusted him. It was years into it he began to screw me over.

Well when you tell somebody 10% and they put in the time and you pull the plug what is that about? A deal is a deal and if they did not like the work he seemingly his work dictates he is capable of getting what was wanted.

However I think the bottom line is the 10%.
How about that other designer that replaced him he makin 10% or was he paid flat? Was it just easier to cut out Potter and put the 10% somewhere else? Thats what I am thinking.

What about the time the guy that thought you were his friend what did he get other then getting cut out of the deal? Did you at least pay him for the time he put into the effort?

When the designs started to not be what I wanted and you took your break from designing because it wasn't what you wanted to do, and have to throw papers and not make ends meat, you come on here trying to extort money from me. I am not about to have that done to me because you made the wrong choices in life.

Not true at all. You continued to use my work, and asked for even more work to be done. You used my main tour design for the first portion of beta, and continued to keep it up as an alt tour via the affiliate program. The member's section is STILL using my scripting and design as well. It's kinda hard to try and blame investor's opinions when you yourself have used the product, and not payed for it. It's real simple.

Why would anyone go with 10% when the deal is split 3 ways on a solo girls site anyways? Thats insane, you would be mailing a 5 cent nickel every week after all said and done.

I really don't understand how there is any other side to this. As stated, I did work for him and was not paid for it. There is a plethora of evidence in this thread. The only retort was that my design was not used. Well, go to the website. It's the third alt tour right now. It's there, live and running online. It's also posted as a link code on the affiliate program. My design, and scripting - is also being used for the member's section. Which many here could check if they have a promo pass, which the larger players should. There's hundreds of webmasters on here who were part of beta, and saw the website launched with my design as the main tour. It's not like it's up for debate, because the proof is right there for you to see.

Can someone summarize? I'm too lazy to read all the shit.

2. Never do business with Bods4Mods unelss he pays you up front.
3. Any hot ideas Bods4Mods has will probably fail from lack of follow thru.

Skip lawyer use small claims. Lawyers are only usefull in criminal matters, or when damages exceed approx 33k or so. (yes there are other reasons for lawyers so do not lay into me.)

There is no real interest to sue for since it was never part of any agreement though you may be able to get some on that 10&#37; assuming you can make a judge think he was being malicious and then it is the state set limit.

You just need to go file for small claims court. Most places are 5k maximum judgements, or like mine its 5k for first case of year then 2.5k for each additional case. No lawyers needed nor allowed.

Only pain in the ass about small claims or even real court is collecting the judgement.

I'm not going to say either one here is in the right, because it may be one massive miscommunication...!!!

But... I've worked for bods a few times and he's always paid on time ... in fact... paid up front I think If I recall ...

wow potter you are the most patient guy i think i have ever seen. If I was you i would forget about getting your money. Move on man and learn from this. Never ever do work on credit. Always get half up front and if you haven't been paid don't EVER do any more work.
