an executive producer in mainstream Hollywood does the financing and deal making of a movie or tv project, he's not writing scripts, acting, holding a camera, lighting a set etc - but you wouldn't say that Jerry Bruckheimer isn't in the movie biz.

If that was the case, there would be no end-customer market of current size buying the content producers' products/services...

I have filmed hundreds of adult movies for VHS, DVD & television broadcast since then as well as thousands of custom exclusive scenes for internet distribution since then.
