full dns management

I'm using a domain registrar currently for dns management. Other than setting up my own nameservers, what are some options that exist?

Which would be a good option for management of 1,000+ domains? Do you recommend one in particular?

What's wrong with using the DNS management provided by your registrar? Just curious. I have used both Godaddy and Register.com to manage DNS and haven't had any trouble or found any real limitations.

DNS managment?Well you need to use either your own nameserver server for working websites or you can simply use ppc parked name server.

I use a service called gratisdns.com - their site is in danish, so it probably won't be of much use to you. It is a very very good, fully featured dns management systems that is 100% free for anyone to use. They do DNS management for 150k domains right now.

Not especally; they all have their ups and downs. I've used ZoneEdit, EveryDNS and UltraDNS. For the most part, though, few folks have a need for more than what ZoneEdit provides.
