Fed lowers interest rates by 75 basis points!!!
That's insane. That's the biggest single drop I've ever seen the fed make. Not to mention that they didn't wait for their meeting at the end of the month but did it today.
Even after 9/11 I think Greenspan only lowered rates 50 basis points right?
