Recession already hit just takes a little while for the markets to reflect it.

Plus nobody can even believe the Governments unemployment numbers as they are the most adjusted statistic in mankind ever. Seriously look at what it takes to be considered employed and what it takes to be counted as unemployed.

Because of the American Credit crunch?

Iraq is bad, American Dollar sucks, Petrol Dollar's rule, EU makes mad money over USA, USA is toast..

Bleh bleh bleh...

Bombay Sensex in India was down 13% an hour ago and is now down 10% !

They're projecting unemployment to go up in India and their GDP to drop 1%-2% if USA economy slows down etc...

Yikes... I was wondering why the US dollar was doing so well against the Cdn dollar today (forgot the US markets were closed for MLK day). Just transfered my US account to Cdn to be safe, will be interesting to see how the dollar reacts to this when US markets open tomorrow.

Here the rules change.
Like how long you been without a job. Are you collecting unemployment. Do you work like at least 20 hours a week (number may be off). And on and on.

Here check yourself and then please do not cause a bald spot from scratching your head.

Everyone ready for black Tuesday?

Good time to be holding cash in US dollars. Money is rushing back into treasuries, at least for a while.

The FX markets are global and always trading. The dollar is rising because people are buying US treasuries.

F'n lame. This is no time to vacation or move abroad. Things are cheaper in other countries right now but twice as expensive for USD compared to 2 years ago.

The repercussions of dying baby boomers will fuel the recession.

Florida will suffer a horrible real estate problem as the old fogeys die off. It will reverberate nationwide as their children either sell their grandpa's houses in FL , or sell their own houses elsewhere to move into grandpa's retirement home in FL.
