Here I had Extreme High speed which included unlimited bandwith usage ( for about twice $$ of the normal cable internet connection ).

About 6 months ago, they sent a letter, in which one of the paragraph stated that a limit of 100 gigs a month was included; afterwards, you have to pay overages ...).

They will try to get more $$$ out of heavy users ...

Hopefully everyone that uses them votes with their dollars and moves to a different company. We don't need any more ISPs getting bright ideas like this.

Don't be confused that this is a matter of "heavy" versus "light". It's a matter of them deciding that such a dividing line exists in the first place. I pay for UNLIMITED usage per month. Period. Dont tell me after the fact that I am a problem.

Now then. If you want to change your billing method, just f'ing do it!

Great use of power to get a "news" story out there for an internal company test though. Awesome marketing. Dont be confused.

I hope it doesn't happen, Australia is moving AWAY from this model... finally...

When broadband cable was first introduced here around 1995-1996 the download limit was 100MB. That is one hundred megabytes. Per month.
