Is there anyone whos traffic isn't going up,up,up?
All programs say they are having their best month ever. All tgps/mgps are saying their traffic is going up up up! and tube sites arent affecting them. Why is it that people who's sales go down think alexa is total shit but the people who's alexa ranking goes up brag about it ? lol. Why do people bitch about slow downs only on days where *their* sales are down. I'm just a noob trying to figure all of this out, someone explain it to me please.

				 | lol if you listened to affiliate reps then every program out there is making millions a day...everytime I hit up my affiliate reps to ask if anything is wrong on their end when my sales suddenly take a nose dive I get the usual "our sales are going up and we are having record months...everything is fine." yet when I switch the links to a different sponosr my sales go right back up to where they should be...funny how that works |

				 | It's possible that many programs are having their best months ever because of increased rebills, yet steady or consistent new join numbers. A program can maintain a daily join average, yet be up 40% the next year if their product is solid, and can keep the attention of members. I can definitely say that I see this with my personal promotions, as I've been in the business 9 years and have only promoted revshare. I could probably live a year without working, and still see my income staying pretty consistent until they all drop off. Likewise, if I send steady joins for a year and pile up that number, I'll be further ahead a year from now than I am at this point. P.S. Don't assume that all programs are opposed to using tube promotions. Some good vids with clear watermarks and banners/text links surrounding can often bring in some nice joins. It's no secret that studios, programs and individual paysite owners have seeded free porn avenues for years with content that is meant to act as teaser. |
