quick css question about dashed borders on divs
say i have something like this on a grey background.
#div { width:500px; background: white; text-align: center; border: 1px black dashed; } the dashed border goes around the outside of the white div with grey in between the dashes. is there a way i can have the blacked dashed line over the white background so it is a white and black dashed border as opposed to a black and grey dashed border? know what i'm sayin? |

doesn't seem to do it. i'd rather not have to set it inside another div just to get the look i'm wanting here.
