The new MacPro is fucking MONSTER!!

Wow, what a machine! Dual Quad Core Xeon 2.8Ghz 12MB cache per processor 1.6Ghz bus, amazing RAM up to 32GB excellent graphics and not to mention storage up to 4TB . The price is pretty fair considering the specs! Just 2.8 grand. I am definitely considering buying this one!!
IT FUCKING ROX!

Pretty neat except the way you described it (32gb ram, 4tb space) would set you back about 14 grand. I bet it'd rock for video editing and such though.

I used the configure now button and maxed out the ram, cpu hard drives and video card. My final price was $20,197.00

$18,399.00 without the 2 23 inch monitors.

Nice spec, but the only thing that lets it down is that fact is a Mac...

You can save allot of money if you buy the memory after market. By allot I mean you can save up to 1500 if your going with the 32 and FYI it can go up to 64 not 32.

that's retouched hardware with amazing and the most quality parts in it. That's why they charge so much for it. Oh and they make everything alone except the processors. 3 grand for such machine is nothing imo!

Not really... they don't make RAM, don't make hard drives, don't make video cards.. and charge a crapload for them.

I do love my macbook though... with aftermarket hard drive and ram.

get a supermicro board snd blow that thing out of the water.

i have almost the same thing, basically the last model before the latest powermac and anyone of our rendering machines can smoke it in any benchtest. to top it off we have 2 employees who were formally in the "mac cult" and now see the light.

Great price, and on the cheaper end all you have to do is buy all the ram and hard drives somewhere else other then Apple and you will save well over 8,000 dollars
