I'm going crazy here...
FUCK....
So my PC with Vista started fucking up this week with random BSoD memory dump crashes.. In the past I've been having issues with program crashing so I decided to reinstall XP and kick Vista to the curb. Well now the computer is fucking up during install. Either it wont find files or it has a BSoD while installing, which resualts on the next boot of the "missing NTLDR" message. So I fix that and then it's the same deal all over again, been fucking with this since yesterday. FUCK FUCK FUCK.. can I say FUCK again? So I have a bad piece of hardware but I have no clue as to what it is, because I can't replace any of them, because I just built this PC and everything is much newer than my older PC's.

I bought a new comp with Vista yesterday.
I haven't opened it up yet. Quite scared too ! I'm not ready to say goodbye to XP, and hello Vista ![]() |

do a hard format on your harddrive, make sure you delete the partition(s) and recreate them too.
I had these errors a while back and it cured them for me. Edit: vista has been very reliable for me, but then i do just webdesign rlated stuff on it so i cant do much wrong. |

sounds like either a bad memory stick or the file system is fucked up.
When reinstalling - remove the partition and let windows format it (not quick format, but full format)

I've done it all deleted partitons, done both quick and normal formats. Pulled my Mobo battery. Hell I even downloaded a hacked XP CD, just so I could use it to load the start up files. Just incase it's my CD. Nothing works. I just got it to load all the start up files and once it did the reboot, it came up with a BSoD. I just rebooted it and it went into the loading windows screen and now it's doing a BSoD again. So now I have to try to guess WTF is bad with out being able to test any of it. I'm thinking it might be my WD Raptor Hard Drive because just before it blue screens I hear a click. I have a second Raptor HD but of course thats where I tossed all my data I needed to save piror to formating my main drive, so I can't format that drive. So now I have to goto Best Buy and buy a HD and hope that's the issue.
