I had these errors a while back and it cured them for me.
Edit: vista has been very reliable for me, but then i do just webdesign rlated stuff on it so i cant do much wrong.

I've done it all deleted partitons, done both quick and normal formats. Pulled my Mobo battery.
Hell I even downloaded a hacked XP CD, just so I could use it to load the start up files. Just incase it's my CD. Nothing works. I just got it to load all the start up files and once it did the reboot, it came up with a BSoD.
I just rebooted it and it went into the loading windows screen and now it's doing a BSoD again.
So now I have to try to guess WTF is bad with out being able to test any of it. I'm thinking it might be my WD Raptor Hard Drive because just before it blue screens I hear a click.
I have a second Raptor HD but of course thats where I tossed all my data I needed to save piror to formating my main drive, so I can't format that drive. So now I have to goto Best Buy and buy a HD and hope that's the issue.
