Getting Yahoo Indexed

Can any of the SEO savvy people give me any tips on getting indexed in yahoo? I understand it is considerably harder then getting ranked in Google. Thanks

Yeh buts its a ridiculous investment especially with no guranteed listing. They say its not guranteed but do they just say that because if your sites really really horrible and basically just spam they won't want to accept it, but decent sites will be included? Thats what I thought anyway

I have dozens of listings paid for and have NEVER been rejected outright.

If you think $600 is a "ridiculous" investment I might suggest you consider a different business. Buying Yahoo listings improves your overall SE rankings.

Talking about getting index or getting ranked? If you mean former, get some backlinks .. if later, get a lot of them.

Don't you have to pay a yearly renewal fee for this directory listing?

Getting indexed? Brain dead easy... Yahoo indexes and retains the most pages.

Getting ranked? Spam links.. Yahoo is the stupidest SE when it comes to catching spammed links.

It's not too hard to get good mainstream sites listed in Yahoo's directory for free. Adult sites....just pay the money.
