Don't most hosts have this built in? I mean wouldn't it be in their interest to stop DDOS attacks since its saturating their bandwidth...

One of my sites was being DDos attacked so I informed them and they did some shit that stopped it. I don't know exactly what they did 'cause I suck at this stuff, but it never happened again. |

no, thats not a good indicator because most normal sites do not get ddosed.

dont believe when any host tells you they have no problem with DDoS attacks, they are straight up lying if they say they have no problem, remember that
