I'm at Whistler right now for the next week
![]() A board can be a very personal thing, you should try to rent a bunch first and see what you like. |

First of all you need to know what kind of board you want. Freestyle? Freeride? they are different. My guess is you want a freeride board. They are a bit longer and don't have identical nose/tail.
You might want to take a lesson and rent before committing yourself. Or borrow a board from a friend. I'm not very up to date with the scene, but here a few brands i remember from the top of my head: boots: 32, burton, vans board: burton, ride, forum bindings: burton, ride, forum |

Illuminati boards are sick... Same with the bindings.
But seriously, just go to a snowboard shop and have someone there size you up and figure out exactly what you need. Thats going to be your best bet really.

i was just under the impression if your height had something to do with the length of your board. if thats not the case then i guess ill just go to the store and check out some boards and see what looks good to me. thanks for the help guys if anyone else has a suggestion shoot it in here. ![]() |

Libtech Jamie Lynn 157w with Ride bindings. I've ridden a ton of boards and this has been the best setup and should be great for what you want.
