Is it just my sites or are Phatservers down?

Can't connect to them or any other sites on their servers.

It's more than a DNS server, I can't traceroute into their network

I think it happened about an hour ago, I was updating the site and checking everything and then posted on another board. Banner did not show and I checked the sites, gone.

Hi everyone. We are here and have been on the problem and working on it since the alerts went off. There was an HVAC failure in a section of the DC. The backup did kick in and the main one is already being serviced and is coming back online. Since heat and servers don't mix well we took some measures to help protect them until the temperature stabilizes when we will bring everything back up.

Wargames, sorry, was already on the phone when your call came in if it was the one from 818.

I'll update ASAP.

The first down time I've seen at Phatservers for a couple years, except for
the ones I caused by remotely installing a new operating system or something
like that. What puzzles me is why they didn't just get in their time machine
and go back and fix the air conditioning before it broke. I know they have a
secret time machine because that's the only way they could respond to tech
support requests as fast as they do. There's no way to do some of the things
we've asked them to do and reply back as quickly as they do, so I know they
must go back in time to before they recieved the request and start working on
it ahead of time.
