Overture is pretty useless on it own bohous - it gives search counts, but also contaminates key phrases by splitting words and also has a problem with plurals.
Some obvious stuff, but what happens to be a top search term does not mean it's profitable to persue it. Other factors come into play - eg what is the ranking/PR/strength of the top sites using that term? What are the best keyphrases to give better options of having ranking near the top of an engine etc? Would seriously suggest you use a paid service - tho that also is a matter of experimenting with a few. WordTracker may be a good place to start. |
