While AlienQ is crazy, he does have clients and probably makes more money working for them than most people in this thread. As far as his clients being upset, I have no idea about that, I am strictly speaking in terms of him having clients.
He is a great designer, his work for Weg (and some of Weg's clients) have done better than any other designer I can think of. He is the easiest designer to work with, he shows you everything laid out, he takes criticism well, and he has great vision during the point of putting his creative spin on the design. He also remains on the designer list for not only Weg, but also for a few other major programs, most of which are hardly discussed anymore on message boards. He designs for the consumer, not the webmaster. He is also very on time with his designs.
That is just a fact, not my way of weighing in on his sanity.Comment

Insanity is one thing. Fucking stupidity is another. He has both traits imo.
When the moron says things like "dot xxx" is a good thing and tripled hardcoded prechecked cross sales is a benefit to the surfer, or that if he was only given $10,000 by someone than the would have been successful, etc.. etc... that's not insanity, that's just fucking stupidity. Insanity is his spelling and his mental break downs with reality.
Not to mention I am one of the ones that has made about 100x more money than him but he feels the need to explain to me how things really work, inbetween giving blow jobs.

I know a few of his clients who would strongly disagree with you on those points. He was fired from Vivid after 5 days because he was lazy, unproductive and extremely difficult to work with. Also, if he makes such good money doing design work why was he broke much of last year looking for work? I am making narrow assumptions, not broad. I am giving you my opinion on his work efforts in concern with our company, a few clients of ours and a few other companies I have known for over 7 years.
He may have a laundry list of 25 entities that are utterly disgusted by him, I have no idea (you seem to allude to this, even going as far as citing an example). My opinion does not include those examples.
I think the greater portion of his post are idiotic, but it should be said that I feel the same way about the greater portion of this board. I think more than a few people around here would be doing themselves a favor by taking illegal drugs. At the very least, it would give them another hobby outside of focusing on trivial concerns.
You are one of the few people that I do tend to read your post. You at the very least seem reasonable, so I am confident you understand where I am coming from.Comment

Speaking on work alone, Alien has done some work my clients and has always done impressive designs.
He's also helped me out many times when I needed a design for the Players Cards and past Players Ball designs.
Like Cory, I'm speaking on the work he does.
As far as drugs, I couldn't answer that. But I know from past conversations he's always been drug free.Still Ballin'Comment
